When you go to the GP with a sprained ankle or back pain one of the first referrals they may make is for physiotherpay. A lot of GPs are now employing first contact physiotherapists within their surgery who can help people who have musculoskeletal problems. This GP to physio referral system has been in place for years, but unfortunately the same is not the case for our veterinary GPs.
